The king of “Kap Hill”
Interestingly, the race track was named “Kap Hill” as tribute to PB Rene Salamero who helped launch this event.
Kap Hill has a starting line located about 330 meters above-sea-level (ASL) and slopes down to the finish line, 240 meters ASL.
Over 1 kilometers of track provided the racers enough time to build speeds that exceed 60kph.
A sharp curve to the left proved to be difficult enough and caused two handfuls of mishaps including an accident that dislocated a toe.
